Dr. Gerd Wiesemann has extensive experience in Chinese Medicine with over 40 years of expertise. He is a co-founder and scientific director of the Sino-German TCM Academy, which offers traditional Chinese Medicine education as well as Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs with internationally recognized degrees. As a visiting professor, he supervises German students at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China, and lectures there as well as at German universities.

Gerd Wiesemann is a co-author of the “Guidelines for Chinese Medicine” and author of numerous professional articles. With his years of experience, comprehensive teaching activities, and practical courses, he is highly regarded as an instructor both domestically and internationally.

With a special focus on Chinese herbal therapy, Gerd pursues a unique approach: he utilizes herbal medicine gently, efficiently, and highly effectively. He also places particular emphasis on the quality and processing of the herbs.
