Chongqing TCM Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is the city’s largest and most advanced tertiary-level Chinese Medicine hospital, integrating the four central functions of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, and public welfare. It is a network hospital of the International Emergency Rescue Center (IERC), designated by the National Health Commission (NHRC), a National Baby-Friendly Hospital (NBFH), and a National Clinical Trial Institution (NCTI) of Drugs. The hospital is ranked in the first phalanx in the performance assessment of the national tertiary-level public Chinese medicine hospitals.

Teaching and Research
It is the first hospital affiliated with Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has an excellent faculty team mainly consisting of two National Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine, three Nationally Famous TCM Practitioners, two National Young Qihuang Scholars, three Chief Medical Experts of Chongqing Municipality, and over 500 experts with senior titles (professor and chef doctor), 257 PhDs, 94 post-doctoral fellows, and 103 supervisors of doctoral and master’s degree students.
International Cooperation
Since the 1980s, the hospital has gradually expanded its international exchange and cooperation in Chinese Medicine. It has started to receive interns from Europe and the United States one after another to study acupuncture, massage, and other Chinese medicine specialty techniques in the hospital. Many TCM specialists have been invited to Europe and the United States to conduct academic exchanges. It has established mutual visiting relations with nearly 40 countries and regions worldwide. In recent years, over 180 visitors from 30 countries and regions all over the world have visited our hospital to experience TCM culture.
